Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski is sharing positive thoughts when it comes to this fall’s Gears of Wars 4.
Talking on Twitter, Bleszinski revealed that after a conversation with a current writer for the series, fans should be assured with the next game in the series.
“Just got off the phone with a friend who is doing some writing on the next Gears game. Sounds like we will all be very pleased with it. :),” he wrote.
In a following tweet, Bleszinski also noted that is he “rooting” for developer The Coalition. Gears of War 4 will be the studio’s first new entry in the franchise since Microsoft acquired the IP in 2014.
Gears of War continues to be one of the most popular series on the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility list.
