Gears of War is really popular on Xbox One
Gears of War is apparently leading the charge of backwards compatibility on the Xbox One.The service launched this past fall with over 100 Xbox 360 titles that would be playable for all Xbox One users, but The Coalition's Rod Fergusson recently revealed that Gears of War 1-3 and Judgment are four of the nine most popular Xbox 360 titles available on the Xbox One.

The service launched this past fall with over 100 Xbox 360 titles that would be playable for all Xbox One users, but The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson recently revealed that Gears of War 1-3 and Judgment are four of the nine most popular Xbox 360 titles available on the Xbox One.
Fergusson revealed the statistics during the stream of the Season 1 finals of the Gears of War ESL league.
Gears of the War: Ultimate Edition edition launched last year for Xbox One, which includes access to the GOW 4 beta when it begins later this spring. Gears of War 4 is currently slated to come to Xbox One sometime in 2016.

The combat is intense and barely ever lets up, and while The Coalition have muddled the survival horror aspects of the game in various places, the overall feel of the game remains fundamentally sound.”
