Sony has announced the lineup for February’s free PS Plus games, and if you like a bit of friendly fire with your over-the-top alien slaughter, you’re in luck.
Leading the month’s games is none other than Helldivers, the sci-fi co-op top-down twin stick shooter from Arrowhead, the developer of Magicka and 2014’s Gauntlet reboot. The main twist here is that in Helldivers, friendly fire is absolutely turned on, meaning you’re just as likely to kill your friends as you are the bugs, cyborgs, and other aliens of the game. The Democracy Strikes Back edition of the game comes with all three of the game’s DLC expansions.
The other PS4 title for February is Nom Nom Galaxy, a game of “platforming, mining, base construction, resource management, tower defense, and of course, making soup. As a new Astroworker for SoupCo, you’ll be producing different soups to keep the aliens fulfilled and fighting greedy competitors. Protect your factory and become the most powerful soup company in the galaxy.”
