All the way back in June, gamers were offered the chance to sign up for the impending beta for the hotly anticipated Tom Clancy’s The Division. Now it looks like that beta might just finally be happening.
Spotted by WCCF tech, the UPlay mobile app has been updated to include the beta test, clearly marked for January, as an unlockable action for The Division. While Ubisoft has yet to confirm, it seems very probable, as a beta was suppose to take place in December, and the game is still due out March 8th.
For those that don’t know, The Division is a shared online world third-person shooter, very much in the MMO-style of Destiny, where you can roam the abandoned streets of New York with teams of up to four people.
A closed alpha ran last month on Xbox One, but participants were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Have you been waiting for the beta to finally arrive? Let us know in the comments.
