Netflix teases two new original shows
Netflix continues to offer an impressive amount of original programming through their streaming service, and has released trailers for two more shows that will join the roster.The Get Down is a show set in the 70s, as the description reads, "Told through the lives and music of a ragtag crew of South Bronx teens, The Get Down is a mythic saga of the transformation of 1970s New York City."

The Get Down is a show set in the 70s, as the description reads, “Told through the lives and music of a ragtag crew of South Bronx teens, The Get Down is a mythic saga of the transformation of 1970s New York City.”
The show was co-created by director Baz Luhrmann, who is known for Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge.
The second new show, The Crown, follows Queen Elizabeth II, with the description reading, “This story reveals the political rivalries and romance behind Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the events that shaped the 2nd half of the 20th century.”
The Crown was created by Peter Morgan, who is best known for The Queen and Frost/Nixon.
Netflix has promised more than 600 hours of original content for viewers in 2016.
