Shown off for the first time just last month at PSX, Paragon is the new third-person MOBA from the Epic Games. And while PC players have already had the chance to jump into the game in a closed alpha, PS4 players have been waiting patiently. As it turns out though, that wait might be over soon.
Speaking with Gamespot, Epic explained, the online tests would expand to the PS4 “very soon.” Those in the testing pool should link their PSN ID to their Epic account and wait for further instruction. Though it appears not even everyone that does that will be accepted at first, the test is likely to grow.
Due to release sometime in 2016 on PC and PS4, Paragon will enter a paid early access period this spring, with a planned open beta sometime this summer. You can sign up for an Epic account and sign up for the beta on the game’s website.
Though it is definitely a MOBA, Epic has pointed out some key major differences that will help Paragon stand out. The fact it’s third person and adds verticality to the formula is just the beginning. Are you hoping to play Paragon early? Or is the fact it’s a MOBA still turning you off from it? Let us know in the comments.
