The latest PS4 update is out now. Dubbed version 3.15, this update “improves the quality of the system performance.” Not much more is said than that about the update, but at least it’s a deviation from the “stability improvements” template that Sony seems to gravitate towards.
The update is 263MB in size and should automatically downloaded to PS4’s that are in “Rest Mode,” but for gamers who want to download the update manually, it can be found on the PlayStation’s website here.
The last significant update came back in October with version 3.10 which introduced the ability for gamers to follow verified accounts of studios and developers and introduced some new messaging stickers. Prior to that, version 3.0 brought YouTube streaming to the console, the ability to share video clips on Twitter, expanded the storage capacity of PlayStation Plus, and much more.
