Crystal Dynamics, the developer for Rise of the Tomb Raider, has released a new comparison video, featured above, that shows off high end technical features included in the PC version of the game.
Those features are anisotropic filtering, tessellation, dynamic foliage, and a high-end ambient occlusion technique called HBAO+.
Tomb Raider’s latest DLC, Baba Yaga will be available to purchase when the game releases tomorrow. Gamers who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition will get Endurance Mode and Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch included with the game. A third major DLC, Cold Darkness Awakened is expected to be released early this year.
To get the full experience out of the game, players are expected to have a fairly strong gaming rig. Requirements for the PC version can be found on the game’s Steam page here. Rise of the Tomb Raider can be purchased for PC through Steam or through the Windows 10 store. A PS4 version is set to be released sometime in 2016, but a specific date has not been announced.
Rise of the Tomb Raider launches January 28, 2016 on PC.
