Second lawsuit against Oculus going forward
Oculus seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. Just after a lawsuit from ZeniMax, the Fallout publisher, they've now been hit with a second lawsuit. Total Recall Technologies is claiming that Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus, took confidential information and passed it off as his own work.According to Reuters, Total Recall Technologies hired Luckey in 2011. His job was to build a head-mounted display, and the project required him to sign a confidentiality agreement. The lawsuit, which was filed last year, says that he breached this contract when he launched the Kickstarter campaign for his head-mounted display, the Oculus Rift.

According to Reuters, Total Recall Technologies hired Luckey in 2011. His job was to build a head-mounted display, and the project required him to sign a confidentiality agreement. The lawsuit, which was filed last year, says that he breached this contract when he launched the Kickstarter campaign for his head-mounted display, the Oculus Rift.
Luckey has come out in saying the lawsuit is “a brazen attempt to secure for itself a stake in Oculus VR’s recent multi-billion dollar acquisition by Facebook.”
As well, the ZeniMax case involves accusing Oculus VR of stealing virtual reality technology that later would become the Rift.
