The Walking Dead games don’t come few and far between, with several developers deciding to make their own representation of the popular zombie filled universe.
Coat tailing off of the show and comics success, Next Games has raised $18 million in funding. The independent finnish developer has raised the money from several sources. $10 million of that came just recently, with funding coming in from AMC Networks, Lionsgate, Lowercase, and IDG Capital since 2013.
Next Games has announced that the extra $10 million will go towards growing its existing mobile titles, as well as working on a third, unannounced project.
According to GameSpot, the developer didn’t provide download information for its title The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, but has seen a strong amount of engagement as of late. Employees also increased from 40 to 75 during the calendar year of 2015.
