Backwards-compatibility was added to the Xbox One after the launch of Windows 10 and the new update. Since then the list of available games has continued to grow. This month is no exception as ten great titles are now on the list.
These games are now all available today for backwards-compatibility on the Xbox One:
- Aegis Wing
- Age of Booty
- Counter-Strike Global Offensive
- Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Skullgirls
- Small Arms
- Soulcalibur
- Space Giraffe
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
There is even more good news accompanying these releases today. Microsoft has announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings would be free until February 5th. This will be great for the many who enjoyed The Witcher 3: A Wild Hunt, which happened to win Gamespresso’s own Game of the Year.
Last, but not least, Microsoft also stated that they would no longer be doing monthly released of backwards-compatible titles from Xbox 360, but would be releasing sporadically as they become available. No more waiting around to hear what is next. It’s a good day to be an Xbox One owner.
