For Xbox One users, the last major update was November 2015.
The console hasn’t been left in the dark, though, with both Free Games and Deals with Gold updating on a regular basis. If you weren’t sold on any of the holiday releases, there’s still loads of great games releasing later on this year for the Xbox One.
Microsoft Engineer Mike Ybarra has shed some light on the subject of Xbox updates, and the information should be releasing later this week. Besides some behind-the-scenes looks at what is yet to come, Microsoft hasn’t revealed a lot of its major plans.
That isn’t to say that we should expect ground breaking technology information next week, though. E3 is only a few months away – taking place in June – and that is when Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft will announce their next major steps.
