For Rocksteady Studios, the release of Batman: Arkham Knight has been anything but smooth.
Released back in June for Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the game had major issues in its launch for the PC. The game was broken for Windows users, and others experienced issues with the PlayStation 4.
With a patch being accidentally released on Steam and then pulled only a few hours later, Arkham Knight was considered to still have its issues when it was re-released in October. Less then a month later, Rocksteady announced they would be ditching the Dual-GPU support that was initially planned for the game.
Feral Interactive dealt with the announcement of losing Mac and Linux support this time around, stating that “We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux,” (source)
If you’ve pre-ordered the game for Mac and/or Linux, they encourage you to apply for a refund via Steam.
