Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has received several new items to its in-game Black Market, including guns, melee weapons and cosmetic options.
Over 100 new items are available as part of the update, according to the official Call of Duty twitter account, including 18 new specialist themes, new weapon camos and other bonuses.
New weapons are also available, including a crowbar and a sword as well as the following firearms:
- MX Garand assault rifle – Fires powerful semi-automatic shots and features a design similar to its World War II ancestor, the M1 Garand
- NX Shadow Claw crossbow – Silent and quick-firing, this tool is one-of-a-kind with its built-in stealth capabilities
- Marshal 16 shotgun-pistol – An appropriately named hand cannon that fires two simultaneous buckshots, making it the only shotgun-based secondary in the game
If you’re unfamiliar with the Black Market, it’s an online store where players can spend in-game currency, Cryptokeys, to unlock different skins, weapon attachments and more. Cryptokeys are earned by completing matches and used to purchase supply drops which provide an opportunity to be awarded in-game gear at random. Supply drops can also be purchased with COD Points, a micro-transaction available in-game.
The latest update for Black Ops 3 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
