D.I.C.E award recipient for Technical Impact for 2016 has been announced
The 19th annual D.I.C.E award is just around the corner and there's already been an announced winner for one of the awards at the show. The winner of the award is Scott Ferguson, the architect of the original and well known Visual Basic program.The award for 'Technical Impact' goes to individuals within the industry that 'contributes to the ongoing progress of interactive media'. The reasoning for Scott's award is the recognition of his Visual Basic program being one of the fastest and more powerful programming languages out there. Visual Basic was released in 1991 and has seen an outstanding amount of coders and programmers blooming from the program.
