Sean Vanaman, co-founder of Campo Santo, is open to the possibility of bringing Firewatch to other platforms if there’s sufficient demand.
“We’ll see how the game does at launch.” Vanaman said in an interview with Red Bull, “and if there’s a desire for it on other platforms then we’ll explore that.”
Unfortunately, irrespective of whether the title is ported to other platforms or not, there will be no sequel. “I’m always kind of ready to start working on another game,” he said, “but I think we’ll start chipping away at that when the time is right. It won’t be a sequel to Firewatch, this story is done. But I’m very excited to see what we come up with next.”
Firewatch comes to PC and PlayStation 4 on February 9.
