Every time some new fact about Silent Hills surface, the Internet gets a tiny bit more sad over what could have been. It’s the Firefly of video games, currently.
Cliff Bleszinski recently stated on Twitter that he was offered a position to work with Hideo Kojima on a Silent Hill game. While Cliffy was “flattered,” he declined the offer.
He also felt that, if he had accepted working on a Silent Hill title, he “woulda fucked up [Silent Hills].” Well, at least he’s humble.
Kojima once told me he wanted me to do a new Silent Hill w him together out of LA. I was flattered but declined. https://t.co/YwpSa1tZLi
