Sony has announced that the next PlayStation 4 system update is right around the corner as the company opened signups for the next beta.
Last September beta testers were able to check out new features before the update went live and the company is doing it again with update 3.5.
To participate in the beta, users will need an internet connection and a master account. Details on which features will be available to test in the beta won’t be announced until the actual beta begins.
“We would like to thank everyone who signed up for the last beta,” Sony said on the blog, “We hope all of you (and those who didn’t too) will sign up again. Don’t wait too long to sign up – we’re accepting a limited number of beta testers, so get in now before it’s too late.”
Gamers can signup for the beta here. The beta will start in early March and instructions on how to download it will be provided via email. The good news is that if players don’t want to test out the beta software anymore, it can be rolled back to the previous one at any time.
