Now under Bandai Namco, Necropolis pc launch is delayed
With a description that includes "Spoilers: You'll probably die trying," Necropolis is sure to be a not-so-death-defying dungeon crawler this summer. Unfortunately, its release was recently delayed due to Bandai Namco obtaining the right to release this game on the console. Though Harebrained Schemes developer Mitch Gitelman will still be independently releasing it on Steam. Gitelman explained that the reason for the game's delay is due to the fact that certifying the rights to release on console takes more time as far as preparation goes.He went on to say, "While we really hate to slip a release date, we know from experience that doing a console release right adds a significant amount of development work. So we believe this is absolutely the right decision."
