Turtle Rock Studios’ zombie survival-shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, can now be played on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
The addition should not come as a complete surprise to fans of the game since someone posted to Reddit back in January when a friend was able to install and play the game on their Xbox One by simply starting a remote download off the Xbox website. It was only a matter of time before the fluke turned mainstream and the game was officially added to the list of 360 games available to play on the One.
Left 4 Dead 2 is the fourth Valve backwards compatible title to be added this week, arriving with King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match (RIP SNK), Halo Wars, and Soul Calibur 2.
