The Community Test Environment(CTE) has been popular among players with the premium Battlefield membership, allowing them to test out content and give feedback before it launches on the main servers.
Producer David Sirland took to Twitter to respond to a few curious gamers, saying that there are no plans for updates to the CTE. However, Sirland also said that there are no plans to shut down the CTE or the Battlefield servers. They will continue to update and make adjustments “as needed”.
