Codemasters, the developer behind DiRT Rally, has released a new trailer for its upcoming racing game.
DiRT Rally’s multiplayer will feature online events and a league system where players can race against their friends or rivals. The leagues are fully customizable and there is no limit to how many a player can join.
“DiRT Rally’s online events are one-shot chances for players to test themselves against the best drivers in the world and claim bragging rights as well as in-game currency,” the developer said in a press release. “Daily Events require nailing a stage selected by the DiRT team – mess up and the opportunity is lost. The Weekly Events, meanwhile, require players to complete all available stages in a rally location, while Monthly Events are a marathon-like test of endurance and skill over 24 stages.”
DiRT Rally launches April 5, 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One. A PC version has already been out since December of last year through Steam’s Early Access program.
