Fable Legends' closed beta will stay up until April
Despite yesterday's news of the cancellation of Fable Legends, the closed beta for the game will remain playable until it is shut down in April.Servers for the beta will officially close on April 13th, 2016. Those who are already in the closed beta will be able to play until that date. Those who have not yet been invited into the beta have tougher luck though, as the developer will not be inviting anyone else in to participate.

Alongside the announcement of the cancellation of the game, it was also revealed that Microsoft’s Lionhead Studios, the developer behind the Fable franchise, would also be closing its doors.
“These have been tough decisions and we have not made them lightly, nor are they a reflection on these development teams – we are incredibly fortunate to have the talent, creativity and commitment of the people at these studios,” Hanno Lemke, general manager of Microsoft Studios Europe said. “The Lionhead Studios team has delighted millions of fans with the Fable series over the past decade.”
