A new update for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been released. The update brings a few adjustments to the game, including changes to Chocobo Racing.
The new Final Fantasy XIV update adds the Chocobo Challenge to the Gold Saucer. The challenge allows players to take part in increasingly difficult challenges that offer massive rewards. During these races, special NPCs will appear that the player must beat in order to complete the challenge. A number of changes have also been made, including the addition of new race abilities and items.
The new update also features an expansion to the Anima weapon questline, which will allow players to enhance the strength of their Anima weapons. The requirements for retaining the New Adventurer status have also been adjusted. There have also been changes to combat, items, and a number of other resolved issues.
