Metroid Prime: Federation Force gets a trailer to justify its existence

In the latest Nintendo Direct, the team talked about why this game exists. Not only that, but a showcase of the game is shown with the trailer above.Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe came to the defense of the game during the Direct, he stated that game was a necessity in order to paint a better story between the Galactic Federation and Space Pirates, something he had wanted to be done for so long.

Federation Force is a 3DS shooter with 3 player co-op. The team will progress through various rooms and go through enemies and puzzles in order to take down the Space Pirates.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force is planned for release sometime in Spring 2016 on the Nintendo 3DS.
