Two new Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst trailers have popped up, highlighting some the improvements with the game’s movement and combat.
EA’s sequel to the 2008 platformer Mirror’s Edge will hopefully be improving on what made the game so much fun, which was running around, taking risky jumps, and getting the edge on opponents using either stealth or punches.
The first trailer, titled “Movement,” shows off some of the new moves that can be performed. Overall, the movement seems more fluid and dynamic.
The second trailer, aptly titled “Combat,” shows off some of the new attack combos that players can do. In Catalyst, you won’t be able to pick up a gun and shoot, making combat overall more risky since your opponents don’t play by this same rule.
Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst comes out on May 24th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
