First off, coming March 15, is the sidescrolling Salt and Sanctuary. “If you’ve enjoyed games like Bloodborne or Dark Souls you’ll feel right at home in Salt and Sanctuary’s brutal but beautiful world… Deep combat and rich RPG elements, all set in a cursed realm of forgotten cities, blood-soaked dungeons, and desecrated monuments. What else could you want?”
Then March 22, gamers can jump into the remastered version of Tim Schafer’s Day of the Tentacle. A puzzle adventure game from 1993, the game comes from the same team behind Grim Fandango, Broken Age, and Psychonauts.
April then kicks off with Enter the Gungeon on April 5. A top down shooter, the game includes “an action-packed repertoire of shooting, looting, dodge-rolling, and table-flipping (and two-player local co-op!).”
The next week will see the gorgeous Stories: The Path of Destinies release on April 12. A fantasy action- RPG, Stories combines quick hack and slash combat with an absolutely breathtaking art-style.
And finally, rounding out Launch Party 2016, the two most anticipated games of the lot will release. First, Invisible Inc., the tactical, turn-based, stealth game from Klei Entertainment, the developer of the beloved Don’t Starve, will land April 19. And then, Alienation, the twin-stick shooter from Housemarque, the developer behind Resogun, will finish things off on April 26. Alienation was recently featured in our Most Anticipated PS4 games of 2016.
