Earlier today, developer Psyonix announced that the keenly-awaited Basketball game mode for the smash-hit title Rocket League will officially launch in April.
Announced in March, the Basketball mode – called Dunk House – looks like it will drastically change gameplay compared to vanilla Rocket League and its Ice Hockey-inspired mode Snow Day.
Dunk House trades the pitch for a court for a new aesthetic, and extends the goals to the shape of an outwards-facing semicircle raised off the ground, representing the hoop. In order to score, players must flick the ball into the air and down into the hoop.
Take a look at the short clip Psyonix posted on its Twitter:

While there’s no exact date yet, watch out for Dunk House landing some time over the next few weeks.
