Steam’s early access program has opened up a whole new world to gamers, purchasing before the games final release to help beta test the product.
Although this helps developers fund their games, certain companies choose to take advantage of this service to gain fans early on.
Chief Exectuvie Officer of Atari, Fred Chasnais, was quite passionate about opening up the game to Early Access. “As passionate RollerCoaster Tycoon fans ourselves, we look forward to working with our community and those new to the series on how we can make RollerCoaster Tycoon World the best theme park simulation game possible. Early Access allows us to openly communicate with fans about upcoming content and features and the community will help us shape our roadmap.”
