In the latest developer video by RollerCoaster Tycoon World, both publisher Atari and developer Nvizzio Creations discuss how user-generated content can help become the future of gaming. “[User generated content is] what brings the game into the next generation. It’s what allows players to really dream up anything and bring it into the game,” explains Matthew Labunka, executive producer at Atari.

“[User generated content is] what brings the game into the next generation. It’s what allows players to really dream up anything and bring it into the game,” explains Matthew Labunka, executive producer at Atari.
In the video below, they show off some of the different aspects of RollerCoaster Tycoon World has in terms of making, importing, and sharing user-generated content. Players can create content using any 3-D modeling tool they desire, save it into the game while it’s running, and immediately use the content without even restarting the game.
As well, the Steam Workshop page will hopefully be filled with tons of models for people to grab and use, whether they’re an experienced user or using the tools for the first time. Check out the video below to see more about how they plan to implement user-generated content into the game.
RollerCoaster Tycoon World is set to release sometime in early 2016, so we must be getting close to an official release date soon.
