An ‘unexpected bug’ has halted plans for the release of a new update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege on consoles, according to Ubisoft.
Update 2.3 was set to go into effect today, but after the PC version of the update was released last week, the company discovered a bug that affected queue times and match quality for ranked matchmaking.
Ubsioft released a patch for the PC version of the update, but has decided to delay the release of the update for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
“We are still working on the issue and we will communicate any updates on our progress,” Ubisoft added.
Update 2.3 was revealed to add changes to weapons, countermeasures for spawn killing, better hit registration, and allow ranked matches to only begin when 10 players are present.
