According to Doom developer id, PC gaming is “in their DNA.”
As a result, the company has revealed a long list of adjustable settings that will be available for the Windows PC version of the upcoming title.
Framerate will not be capped on PC at launch and will feature the following options to allow for optimal game performance.

“We also know many of you are interested in some deeper insight into the types of fundamental changes we’ve made to our engine technology over the last few years,” the developer wrote. “In the coming weeks, we’ll be giving you an inside look at idTech 6 engine architecture, our rendering pipeline, our customization tech and other initiatives we have underway to broaden our minimum PC spec even further than our current expectations.”
Doom launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 13th.
