Beyond Good and Evil trademark renewed
Beyond Good and Evil fans might have a bit of hope left after all.With the first title released in 2003 for multiple platforms, it didn't look like fans of the game would ever be seeing a sequel. Until 2008, when Ubisoft announced that their was currently a sequel being worked on.

With the first title released in 2003 for multiple platforms, it didn’t look like fans of the game would ever be seeing a sequel. Until 2008, when Ubisoft announced that their was currently a sequel being worked on.
Development was later halted for the game to complete work on Rayman Origins, which proved to be the reboot that the Rayman franchise needed. With a fresh take on the game, it wasn’t hard for critics to embrace a different style of of the game.
Recent rumours have pointed towards Beyond Good and Evil finally getting its sequel for the upcoming Nintendo NX, but nothing has been confirmed.
With the trademark coming close to an expiration date, Ubisoft has done the unexpected and filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for renewal. It is currently under examination, but things are looking up.
