No Man's Sky is looking to be quite the ambitious title, featuring an infinite procedural universe. To show how the game will work, director Sean Murray sat down with Anthony Carboni to play a short demo to give players an idea on how the title will play.During the demo, we are given a glimpse at how No Man's Sky will work. We see how players will be able to scan the universe's planets and name things, the effects that external temperature can have on players, and how gamers can interact with alien races and learn their languages. No Man’s Sky’s gameplay is built on four pillars: exploration, survival, combat, and trading. The game will feature a procedurally generated open universe, and will include over 18 quintillion planets for players to visit.
