Dota2 gets new Spectator Mode thanks to SteamVR
Popular MOBA Dota 2 will be getting a virtual reality enabled Spectator Mode according to a promo video on Valve's SteamVR page.The quick video shows a match between Evil Geniuses and MVP. Not only can Spectators watch the match on a virtual screen as well as listen to the match commentary, but they can see the overview of the game's map, inspect avatars, and check the economy and XP all within a virtual space. Also, the player's avatars will display the build sets they have equipped and will show the attacking animations when in combat.
