Trying to keep it on the down low, Microsoft’s Xbox One has just gotten the HBO Now app without an official announcement.
For those out of the loop, HBO Now is a $14.99/month streaming service from HBO. The service gives you access to stream many of the network’s shows, including Game of Thrones. It is not to be confused with HBO Go, which you can access by subscribing to the channel with your pay-TV Provider.
HBO Now is only available in the U.S. and certain U.S. territories, and this is the first time it will have been made available on a gaming console. So far HBO has made no statement as to if/when the service will be coming to the PlayStation 4.
If you’re interested in trying the service out, you can get a 30-day free trial.
