Microsoft is no longer making Xbox 360s
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, announced that Microsoft will no longer be producing the 10 year old console.In a sentimental reflection on how the Xbox 360 grew Microsoft as a company, Spencer said that the 360 redefined an entire generation of gaming at Microsoft. "I am incredibly proud of all of the work and dedication that went into development of the Xbox 360 hardware, services and games portfolio over the last decade."

The future for the servers is still looking bright. Anyone who still owns a console will be able to access the multiplayer servers, Deals with Gold and Games with Gold will also remain on the older console for the foreseeable future.
Microsoft hasn’t given up on the 360 ten years later, and it doesn’t look like support will be shut down anytime soon.
