Nintendo is celebrating Miitomo reaching 10 million downloads
Nintendo has announced that Miitomo has been downloaded over 10 million times worldwide.To celebrate reaching 10 million users, Nintendo will be hosting a special promotion for users April 29-May 9. During this time, players will be given daily bonuses, such as coins and tickets. Nintendo will give away a total of 5,000 coins and 12 game tickets by the end of the event.

To celebrate reaching 10 million users, Nintendo will be hosting a special promotion for users April 29-May 9. During this time, players will be given daily bonuses, such as coins and tickets. Nintendo will give away a total of 5,000 coins and 12 game tickets by the end of the event.
Three previously Japan-exclusive Miitomo Drop stages will also be available during this time. Players will be able to spend all of their tickets in one go on the “Look sharp! Smart Dresser!” Miitomo Drop boards running May 2-8.
Nintendo has also noted that players have taken to the Miifoto feature. Miifoto is an Instagram-style feature of the app that lets players take photos of Miis using custom backdrops, facial expressions, and other options. Nintendo has stated that more than 20 million Miifotos have been created and shared.
Miitomo is available on iOS and Android. Nintendo has plans for at least four more mobile games in the works to be released by March 2017. Coming this fall are two mobile games based off of the Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing franchises. Few details have been given so far, but Nintendo has stated that they will feature more “prominent game elements” than Miitomo.
