New Tekken X Street Fighter is on hold

Since then we have had both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release, and the fighting genre library is significantly smaller currently than it is on previous generations. As developers like Capcom push to release games like Street Fighter V, they tend to ignore the crossover style fighting matches.
With Tekken 7: Fated Retribution coming out later this year for the PlayStation 4, Katsuhiro Harada claims that it could be detrimental to the communities found within both Tekken and Street Fighter. “A good window in which to release Tekken X Street Fighter is something that’s become difficult recently, […] it’s on hold for the moment.”
