Calm down internet, the upcoming Gears of War 4 beta will clock in at 1080p.
Rod Fergusson, head of the studio behind the game, The Coalition, confirmed the news after a Twitter user inquired if the rumored 720p was indeed correct.

Those who played Gears of War Ultimate Edition on ether Xbox One or on PC by April 11th will be invited to the Gears of War 4 beta when it begins on April 18th.
But those who didn’t pick up Gears of War Ultimate Edition still have a chance to get in on the action – all Xbox Live Gold members will get in on the beta starting on April 24th.
It was revealed earlier today that Gears of War 4 is launching exclusively for Xbox One on October 11th. The final version of the game will run at 1080p and 30 fps, while its multiplayer component will run at 60 fps.
