Halo 5: Guardians‘ Spartan Laser is notoriously difficult to use compared to its Halo 3 and Halo 4 predecessors – for one, it seems that it’s almost impossible to destroy, well… Anything.
The Spartan Laser in Halo 5: Guardians suffered a serious nerf during development that hindered its destructive capability – a new design, in which the weapon shoots a number of smaller lasers in small increments instead of one powerful beam, also puts it at a disadvantage.
Cue the following video. I’m not going to sugar coat it and hype it as something it’s not; it’s a short clip of me scoring a triple kill in close quarters against a Warthog. What makes it incredible is that it’s the first since Halo 5: Guardians‘ launch that I’ve actually found the Spartan Laser worth wielding.
