Xenoblade Chronicles is now available on the Wii U Virtual Console.
The RPG, which was first released in 2012, will cost gamers $19.99 on the eShop. Like other Virtual Console titles, Xenoblade Chronicles will allow gamers to use offscreen play with the GamePad.
Xenoblade Chronicles first released in 2012 for the Wii. The game was ported over to the New Nintendo 3DS last year. It is one of the revamped handheld’s few exclusive titles. Copies of the game for the Wii are incredibly hard to find, and are often priced much higher than the suggested retail value, even at retailers such as GameStop. The game’s main protagonist, Shulk, was featured as a fighter in the latest Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS.
A spiritual successor to the game, entitled Xenoblade Chronicles X, was released late last year for the Wii U. You can check out Gamespresso’s review for the title here.
