Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that Batman: Return to Arkham will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this July.
Batman: Return to Arkham will include remastered versions of both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. The games are being remastered using Unreal Engine 4 by Virtuos. Virtuos also worked on Fable Anniversary, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, and the PlayStation 4 port of Heavy Rain.
Both games will include all of the Game of the Year edition content, as well as improved graphics, upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects, and shaders.
Batman: Return to Arkham will release on July 26th. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A leak for the collection came out in April. It was then that we learned that the collection would only include Rocksteady’s entries in the franchise, and would not include Arkham Origins. The leak came from a GameStop employee who had taken pictures of the listing.
