The publisher also announced its biggest Q1 online player community in its history, will 55 million monthly active users across its library, which is up 10% when compared to the same quarter last year. Activision did not give any subscription numbers for World of Warcraft, though they confirm that the title continues to be the number one subscription-based MMORPG in the world.
The next major update for Destiny is coming this fall, but no details have been shared. Bungie community manager David Dague stated last month: “The next point on the horizon is an update we’re cooking up for the Fall. I’ve seen it. I’m excited about it. I will say no more… For now.”
Destiny is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
