Square Enix has announced that more copies of the Final Fantasy XV: Ultimate Collector’s Edition are on the way.
Originally limited to 30,000 units, Square Enix has stated that they are hard at work making more available. According to the Square Enix blog, 10,000 more copies will be made available worldwide on May 23rd. The publisher stated that they could only make 10,000 extra units due to the time it takes to create each individual Noctis Play Arts Kai figure.
“We cannot guarantee that this new batch of 10,000 UCEs will arrive on time for the launch of Final Fantasy XV on 30th of September 2016,” Square Enix stated. “But rest assured we are trying our absolute hardest to get them to fans in time. We will of course provide updates on this closer to the time of release as we know how important it is for you guys to have the game as early as possible.”
