For the latest Gran Turismo, developer Polyphony Digital is teaming with the FIA, International Automobile Federation, to hold two in game championships. Running at the same time, players can represent their country by racing in the Nations Cup, or support a manufacturer in the Manufacturer Fan Cup. The idea is that winners will actually be included in trophy ceremonies alongside real-world drivers.
All the action kicks off with the new trailer on May 19 at 10:45 AM PT. The test races will follow, starting at 11:00, and then the trophy ceremony at 12:30.
