It looks like Five Nights at Freddy’s may be coming to consoles.
Responding to a question on Steam, series creator Scott Cawthon revealed that he is in talks with a number of companies about console releases of the games. “Actually, yes! It will happen,” he stated. “I’m talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. :)”
He also added that the console versions of the games would be remade, and not just ports of the PC versions.
Five Nights at Freddy’s first released for PC in August 2014. Since then, the point-and-click horror title has received three sequels, and an RPG spin-off. It was recently announced that another entry in the franchise, entitled Sister Location, is currently in development. Not much is known about the title, but based on the teaser image released, the new entry will take place at a brand new location.
