In a match between Pokkén Tournament and Street Fighter V, the former may have come out on top.
Based on a tweet from NPD results leaker ZhugeEX, the Wii U exclusive fighter may have sold more physical copies in stores than the PS4/PC fighter Street Fighter V has since launch.
Though no exact numbers were given at this time, it is well known that Capcom has reported that Street Fighter V has underperformed for the company, having sold 1.4 million copies since launch, missing the company’s goal of reaching two million copies by the end of the 2016 fiscal year.
It’s important to recognize that this is just physical sales of game discs and does not take into account of any digital sales that may have occurred for either game.
