Today developer Psyonix released an update that allows players of the Xbox One and PC versions of the game to play each other. Xbox One players will be able to include PC players in both public and private matches through a check box in the options menu.
Vice President of Psyonix Jeremy Dunham stated: “We’re really excited to bring Xbox One and PC players closer together. Cross-network play has been something that Xbox One gamers have been asking us for since the day we launched, and thanks to Microsoft’s new cross-network policies, we’re proud to give it to them.”
Rocket League is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 4 gamers have been able to play against those playing on PC since the game launched last July. Last month saw the release of the game’s Hoop Mode, which included an NBA flag pack.
