John Romero and Adrian Carmack have recently pulled their Kickstarter campaign for their newest title, Blackroom. Rather, they plan on creating a working demo for the title first before restarting the Kickstarter.Labeled as a "visceral, action-packed FPS set in a holographic simulation gone rogue," the game was placed on Kickstarter, only to be paused within one day of funding. Night Work Games, the developers behind Blackroom, plans on creating a demo for the title, "which demonstrates the kind of gameplay, look and innovative, cool features that make Blackroom truly unique — the things we've waited years to put into an FPS and which make us incredibly excited about this game."

In the 24 hours the Kickstarter was up, the team raised about $131,000 and was asking for $700,000. Hopefully we’ll hear more about Blackroom soon from these industry veterans soon.
